During the Laba Festival, Master Shi Xing Wu and his disciples of the Xing Wu Zen Temple Society was giving food to homeless people on the street.
On January 20, 2021, the eighth day of the December lunar year, Laba Festival, Xing Wu Zen Temple Society, Shaolin Zen Wu Cultural Centre of Canada, Master Shi Xing Wu and his disciples came to the streets of downtown Vancouver to distribute food, fruit and hot coffee to the homeless.
During this giving, these homeless people were very friendly and polite to the Master and his disciples. Those people kept expressing their gratitude to the Master and his disciples. during the process of distributing food and hot coffee, those homeless people even try to take out their few coins to donate to the temple. The cold on the streets in winter was touched by the small warmth scenes, warming people’s hearts.
On this Laba Festival, Buddha Sakyamuni Buddha’s enlightenment day. We respectfully invite the public to form a good relationship, to be vegetarian and release the life, to offer lights to pray for blessings, and to pray for the early elimination of the epidemic, that the country will be prosperous and that everyone will live and work in peace and contentment, and that happiness and longevity will be extended.
